Acknowledging Patches
2 |
=====================
3 |
4 |
Regardless as to whether a patch is appropriate or not, it seems that
5 |
people have in the past submitted things which simply went ignored.
6 |
7 |
These have been really simple things - see #68 for example.
8 |
9 |
If people are ignored, they lose interest, and go elsewhere.

11 |
Possibly we could have some sort of "incoming patches" list, as I
12 |
believe PostgreSQL do, just to make sure they aren't missed. A quick
13 |
"thank you, we'll get around to it when we have a moment" is all it
14 |
takes.
15 |
16 |
This may seem kind of obvious, but I'd like it recorded anyway,
17 |
especially from the marketing perspective - see the newdevelopers
18 |
document.
